Single Chat

To chat with a strange player, just hold Alt and left click the target player. To chat with your friend, right click his or her name in the friend list. If someone sends a message to you, his or her avatar will flicker on the screen.

Group Chat

If you are in the team mode or doing Spacecraft Missions, you will be in the group chat mode.

Offline Messages

Need to send a message to your friend, but he is not online? Don't worry. Send an offline message to him and he'll receive it as soon as he gets online.
