Everytime when you upgrade the gear's quality in the Gear Quality Academy, your signature (character's name) will be engraved on the gear, no matter whether there is some other player's signature on the gear or not.
Change Signature
If you buy an Ultra gear from other players, you will not be able to change the signature by upgrading its quality. What to do? The Gear Quality Academy can help you out. It will cost you a Red Star to change the signature.
