Date: 36th Ophiuchus, 4028

I was doing my routine patrol, destroying the manifesting robots, mentoring newbies, and flirting with girls.

When I was on the way back to head quarters, thats when I saw her. The most beautiful pilot in a strong looking unit. She was being attacked by a mob of strong robots. I swooped in and destroyed all of then with my sword. Then I approached her. She gazed up at me. She thanked me, told me that her name was Kyran, then left.

I thought I'd never see her again. But I was wrong. She appeared the next day at training. Continently, she became my patrol partner. Many months passed and we became from good friends to best friends. Then one day I asked if she would be mine. She said she would think about it.

The next day after patrol, we were heading back to headquarters. Then she said she would be mine. I was so overjoyed I didn't see the robot sneaking up behind me. The robot was about to attack when Kyran jumped to save me. I was saved, but Kyran's unit was badly damaged. Then her thrusters failed and she fell towards a nearby sun with the robot. I couldn't believe what just happened. I was heart broken for years.

210 Years Later: I was now a fully realized King of the Universe. I still liked patrolling. One day, on the 210th anniversary of Kyran's death, or so I thought, I was patrolling the area where Kyran died.

Suddenly, I got a transmission. It was weak, but it was a distress signal from Kyran. She was alive!
