The engineers took no risks and performed an atmosphere scan as fast as they could.
The results weren't like they hoped for but the difference was very insignificant.
Humans could survive a few hours outside of a protective atmosphere.
Within one month a small society was founded and water was found nearby.
The soil of the lands had many wanted materials that were used as a currency.
Exodus prospered and a stable economy was established very fast.
But suddenly after the 32th day signals were found.
The only possibility could be that it came from earth.
Video messaging was established.
The result wasn't nearly as they expected.
The man speaking informed the people of a tragedy.
In secret projects were in development with the purpose of self defense should the colonies attack.
The weapon surpassed all expectations and they were quickly constructed on the battlefield.
As expected they didn't have much time and an attack followed as soon as the colonies got news from it.
They launched an all out attack, Earth prepared its weapons which needed an enormous amount of power and put on all possible power.
They didn't expect the attack this fast and rushed it.
Carelessly and without thinking of any possible errors they launched the enigma canons.
The shot exterminated every single ship on its path in one single combined shot.
Then the unimaginable happened.
Power wasn't able to cut off and the beam kept continuing its way, a civilian colony was hit and shot out of orbit and into earth's gravity field.
The weapons blew up after this error.
Many people witnessed the sky, clouds turning red like blood, doing their final prayers as they saw a flaming orbital ring falling from the skies as this was a certain ending.
Men, woman, children, animals and everything else was destroyed by this horrible event.
The entire mid and southern half of the world just didn't exist anymore.
A wasteland of debris and canyons.
The man explained to be one of the surviving northern Europeans and had a very important message for exodus.
