Zephyre's tips on Zero Market Pricing/Purchase Guide
Version 1.05

Introduction: This is an article guide on how to help figure out how to price items found in the game to sell to other players. Its developed from the author's original thoughts on limits based on Zero Mall prices and observed prices sold at booths at the Galaxy~Centaurus server market. Further development has been contributed by others from other various posts within this forum. Hopefully this will be helpful to all that read this.

Legend:

1k = 1,000 (1 thousand) 1M = 1,000,000 (1 Milion)

Disclaimer:
This is merely a rough guide as to its value you should sell at minimum, or pay at most for most items.

Quality:
No one cares really about normal, or refine, unique is briefly cared about, elite is prefered, and is considered standard. Ultra is everyone's goal. So, normal or refine, if anything discounts a price or not at all. Unique is normal price, and Ultra is worth to add a 1/4th (+680 zps) to 1/2th (+1360) the cost of a DarkStar; depending what it is.

Inner Gear

Normal: n/a
Refined: n/a
Unique: n/a
Elite: +30-50 zps
Ultra: +1360-2040 zps

Outer Gear
Normal: n/a
Refined: n/a
Unique: n/a
Elite: +10-30 zps
Ultra: +1020-1360 zps

Weapons/Sheilds

Outer Gear Weapons
Normal: n/a
Refined: n/a
Unique: n/a
Elite: +1-10 zps
Ultra: +800-2000 zps

Bonuses:

Inner Gear
at +1 for 8 zps
Outer Gear
at +1 for 5 zps
Weapons
at +1 for 2 zps
Note 1: Multiply by 3 for every +1 over the first from the previous bonus level.

Example: +3 Thrusters should be 5 zps for +1, times 3 for +2, times 3 for +3 = 45 zps.

Note 2: Bonuses of +6 and more tend to jump a bit higher than the norm as +7 items and higher become highly valuable items requiring 3 days verication before allowance to sell.
Remark: I rarely buy a +1 gun for more than 1 zp, a +2 gun for more than 5 zp, and a +3 gun for 12 zps.

Sockets:

Weapon Socketing costs 3 red stars for first socket, and 10 red stars after for the second socket. The only other way I know of socketing other gear or cores is by putting junk cores into it through R&D Icon, and the 2 specal mall items you can buy to do it automatically.

1 socket items
: go from +10 zps to +300 zps (these do not sell too well by themselves.)
2 socket itmes
: go from +650 zps to +1300 zps

Condense (Inner) Gear:
Only inner gear of 170+ can be condensed. Cabin at level 170, Engine at level 175, HP-Mod at level 177, and more to come. First two levels of condensing costs 1 Met each, next two levels cost 1 Red Star each, and the Fifth level costs 1 blue Star.

+1 to +2 Condense
: +10 zps and +20 zps.
+3 to +4 Condense: +140 zps and +260 Zps.
+5 Condense: +860 zps. Cores: (I say Programs here, but in game the are Auxilaries.)

Elite Programs add +10 zps to 100 zps depending on rarity and valuable use the program is.
Perfect Programs add +50 to 500 zps depending on rarity and valuable use the program is.

Size
of 5 cells straight goes for 150 zps to 300 zps, and 4 cells straight goes for 300 zps to 600 zps. Small but weird shaped zps go for less, L shapes about 10-20 percent cheaper, while oddly shaped sell for 40-60 percent cheaper. Each cell higher than five, deducts the price about 5-15 percent each at 6-8 cells accumulative, while 9-12 cells deduct 15-20 percent more accumulative. 30 cell cores with nothing special about them sell for 1-15 zps, but usually just 2 zps each.

Type of Core
some cores sell higher than others, mainly Mars Cores (No. 10) which add 20-50 percent to the price, and War Cores (Zero) which add 50-100 percent to the price.

HP Regen Programs
go for 1/10th its HP ability up to 600 HPs, then 1/5th for 600 to 700 hps, then 1/2 for 800 to 900 hps, and equal for 900 to 1000 hps. Perfect is 1000 HPs, and is possible to sell for 200 percent due to rarirty.

Mets, Stars, Money, Gems, and Masteries:
Mets
go now from 5-15 zps, depending how fast you want to sell them and how long you want to sit on them.
Red Stars go from 100-135 zps, average is 120 zps.
Blue Stars
go for 600 zps on average.
Dark Stars No one sells them, but if they did, it would go proably for 4x Blue Star price (~2400 zps).
Gold
by the Zero Mall goes for roughly 6.9k a zp, general rule is 100k per zp, but sellers usually sell to the desperate up to 300k per zp. With the new Star Transport quest, Gold may now have a higher cost to zp exchange, its too early to yet tell.

Normal Gems
go from 1-5 zps each. (I never buy a normal for more than 1 zps)
Refine Gems
, Potency refined gems sell the highest 30-50 zps, Attack and Defence refined gems sell at 20-40 zps, and Experience gems sell for 10-30 zps.
Ultra Gems
, very rare on the market, they sell about 30x the Refined gems (However I could only get rid of my Ultra Experience Gems for 500zps).
Masteries
go for 1-2 zps, I sell them fast at 90k but standard is 100k-200k.
Mastery Packs You can get up to 7 of these doing the Gladiator Spacecraft mission, they sell in market from 1-6 zps each, standard now is 3 zps for a random Mastery x5 to your class. In gold the standard is 350k.

Polies

Polies can only be found from mob drops, or bought from other players. They only drop in level 60, but can be made by players with the poly swap NPC (Near Cap NPC) to higher levels, costing three of each kind for the next level; being Level 70, Level 80, level 90, and level 100.

60-Poly
Sell for 3-6 zps, or 350k-1M gold.
70-Poly
Sell for 10-15 zps, or 1M-3M gold; Made by swapping 3x 60-Poly with the Poly Swap NPC.
80-Poly
Sell for 30-45 zps, or 3M-9M gold; Made by swapping 3x 70-Poly with the Poly Swap NPC.
90-Poly
Sell for 90-135 zps, or 9M-18M gold; Made by swapping 3x 80-Poly with the Poly Swap NPC.
100-Poly
Sell for 200-405 zps, or 18M-54M gold; Made by swapping 3x 90-Poly with the Poly Swap NPC. There is nothing currently higher than this level for polies. You really start needing this from cap 43 and up, and at 53 cap and higher, even a 100-Poly will not cover all the crystals you need to level up; but sure cuts the cost down a lot.

Crystal Packs

29 Zero Points for 10 Amethysts at the Zero Points Mall.136 Zero Points for 50 Amethysts at the Zero Points Mall.

Rose Crystal Packs: Known RoseQurtz Packs, come in only, 20k RoseQuartz Pack, 30k RoseQuartz Pack, and 50k RoseQuartz Packs. You can get these from six bosses that show up on the moon.
20k RoseQuartz Pack - 2 to 6 zps or 20k to 400k Gold.
30k RoseQuartz Pack
- 3 to 8 zps or 30k to 600k Gold.
50k RoseQuartz Pack
- 5 to 15 zps or 50k to 1 mil Gold.

Sapphire Crystal Packs: Sapphires sell for 1 to 10 times their value in zps, and 5 to 10 times their number in gold. Known Sapphire Packs are: 1k Sapphire Pack - 20-29 zps 1.5k Sapphire Pack - 30-44 zps 2k Sapphire Pack - 40-58 zps

Amethryst Crystal Packs
: 10 Amethyst Pack - 20 to 29 zps; Average is 25 zps, and 2 to 5 million in gold. 50 Amethyst Pack - 100 to 136 zps; Average is 110 zps, and 10 to 25 million in gold. (Its cheaper to buy a 50 pack Amethyst Pack than the 10 pack, as the 50 pack costs only 27.2 zps per 10 Amethysts.)

Hope these basic rules of how much you should price your stuff at or buy things for is helpful. Its how I roughly judge what is worth buying, and how much I should sell things at least for.
