The Beginning of the end Part 3

   "Hey, you ok bud?", the voice bellowed.

   "Where am i?", HEART rubbing his head and looking around confused.

   "Dude, this is SteelWarship, you sure youre ok?" persistant to get an answer from HEART.

   Realizing he wasnt in his mech startled HEARTLESS, and he suddenly became VERY concerned with his lack of defense.

   "Where is my mech?" angrily, HEART jumped to his feet, but suddenly being overcome with dizziness grabbed the strangers arm to support his weight.

   "Hey guy, take it easy. You and your mech were in bad shape", still looking concerned for HEARTLESS, the stranger helped him to his feet. "Whats your name bud?"

   "HEARTLESS", confidently.

   "Look dude, your mech was severely damaged, you wont be seeing it again", breaking the news to HEART. "I'm with the Alliance and judging by the looks of your mech you ran into some enemies".

   "I need that mech. Theres no question about it. i was hoping to get here in time to make repairs and get some upgrades on it. My family is gone, i have no home anymore, and all i had was the mech", starting to weep HEART knew his chances of finding his family were slim to none.

   "OK look bud, we couldnt save the mech, there was just no way with all the damage and outdated components on it, but since you were still breathing i had a couple of friends take it to the scrap metal shop to be recycled." reaching into his pocket the stranger pulled out a bag and handed it to HEARTLESS.

   "What's this?", still confused and reaching into the bag, HEART realized its contents and quickly put it away.

   "OK look, thats 1mill in galaxy gold. There is a guy im going to send you to to help you get refitted with a Mech, but you take real good care of it. Put the best gear on it and make it strong, do you understand. Im only telling you this because you seem like a good guy. by the way i DID salvage one item from your mech.", handing the rose to HEARTLESS.

   "My wifes rose", tearing up and grinding his fists,"i told myself id give it to her when i see her again."

   "Look HEART, the othellians are merciless, and theyve been recruiting renegades from SteelWarship to hinder our progress. Your wife could have been taken as a recruit or a prisoner. Like some of the Alliance, we are finding our family members on MoonStronghold. She very well could be there."

   "Where is this "guy" of yours." feeling the sudden urgance to get to MoonStronghold, nothing was going to stand in his way of his family, not even the renegades. Idiot traitors. He'll kill them if they get in his way.

   "OK now listen and listen carefully, take this pocket NAV and the coordinates are already stored, along with some other information." Handing the NAV to HEART an alarm goes off.

    Alarm! Alarm!

   "Gotta go dude, talk to people and see what you can come up with. Radio me sometime, Ill see if i can help." the stranger runs off and disappears in the distance.

   Opening the NAV, HEART clicked a highlighted button on the menu screen and instantly a homing beacon appeared.

   Following the beacon led HEART to the back of SteelWarship. Looking around HEARTLESS could see what looked to be alot of pilots.As he got closer to the beacon target he could see a guy standing next to what looked like a space age "Vending" machine.

   "Uh excuse me, someone sent me here to talk to someone about a "special" mech", questioning the validity of the direction HEART didnt let the guy know his bag of gold was with him.

   "You need a new mech, my names Sypier. I tell you what since you have my friends NAV system ill give you this mech for free. Keep your money. But if you want the "special" unit, youll have to come back later. I want to see how well you handle this one." Pointing to the area where the pilots had gathered, "go over there and put your money into your locker but you come talk to me when you think youre worthy enough to get this other unit." handing HEARTLESS a disk, he could see the confusion in the novice pilots eyes."LOL, look guy just slip the disk inside and get your mech, youll learn everything as you go."

   "I I dont know what to say, youve helped me alot. And i WILL be back, you keep that other unit for me, I vow on my families lives i WILL BE WORTHY to gain your special unit".

   HEART slid the disk inside the machine and drew out the mech. Looking at the new shiny mech HEART was in awe of its power. Gently caressing the mech HEART could only imagine the power this mech was able to dish out. And he was now getting impatient to try out his new defense weapon. He was going to kill any and EVERY othellian supporter he could find.

   Climbing aboard the mech, HEART again placed his wifes rose in clear view as to motivate him even more. Now it was time to find a isolated area to train his mech.

   "its time to go to MoonStronghold and take care of some business."
